It all started in Lithuania, my home country, where I grew up. From childhood, I was fascinated by the stories my grandmother told me about fashion and French haute couture. She was very skilled at crochet, and it was she who introduced me to this artisanal craft. With patience, she taught me the techniques of crochet, instilling in me a passion for this ancient art.
For years, I perfected my crochet skills, creating handmade pieces inspired by French elegance. But my real adventure began in 2017, when I designed my first crochet handbag for my daughter. This project, both personal and ambitious, allowed me to fully immerse myself in creation. The result? A unique bag that captivated the attention and admiration of everyone who saw it.
That's when I realized that my passion could go further. Inspired by people's love for my handmade bags, I decided to take the plunge by creating a unique collection of handmade women's handbags. By exploring new patterns and pushing my creativity further, I launched my own brand, Georgetta, and opened my workshop.
